With a new studio album - our 19th, to offer, we thought a bit of redecorating was long overdue. So, we've given the old place a couple of coats of paint and moved the furniture around a bit. Come on in and say g'day, and check out the house-warming gifts we've organised for you.

Of course, while we're excited about our new home, we'd like to thank Rod Moon - our 'housekeeper', who kept the old place spick and span for so many years. Thanks mate!

"Songbook II, sees the Bushies doing what they do best - cooking up another Aussie music feast. Take a dollop of trad folk, sprinkle with country heritage; add generous quantities of spirited instrumentals and passionate vocals, mix with original songs and stories. Season with love and inspiration, and bake in a moderate oven. Best consumed fresh - as Australian as Pavlova!"
(Quote courtesy of Mrs P. Newton - thanks mum!)

We launched the new album with huge success at this year's Tamworth Country Music Festival. With renewed passion, new young players, and well over twenty-eight years of performance history in Tamworth, we romped our way through four big sell-out shows. Fans danced in the aisles and shouted for encores - it was a blast! Rolling out the first of the new songs is the single, 'The Good Old Days', Roger's whimsical take on these "troubled times". You can hear it on Australian radio now.

We've got plenty more Songbooks in us and, as long as we draw breath and you buy the music, we'll keep on shouting "don't let the bastards think they've won"!

Cheers
